Dear Wayne Local School Parents and Guardians,

I am writing to inform you of some rumors that have been circulating regarding potential threats of violence in our district. Please know that, at this time, there has been no evidence of any threat to our district. However, we take any information related to student and staff safety very seriously.

The safety and well-being of your children is our top priority. We are working closely with local law enforcement and have increased our security measures as a precaution. Additionally, we are closely monitoring the situation to ensure our school remains a safe environment for all.

We ask that you encourage your children to report any concerning information or behavior to a trusted adult, and to avoid spreading unverified rumors that can cause unnecessary fear and anxiety.

Please be assured that we will continue to update you if there is any further information. In the meantime, if you have questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out to the school administration.
