High school students in Mr. Hardin's Honors Biology 2 class are currently studying zoology. Each group in the class is presenting an invertebrate phylum. While a group of students, Preston Callahan, AJ Larson and Corey St. Pierre, are presenting the phylum Cnidaria which includes jellyfish, coral and anemones, the rest of the class is taking notes and learning from the presentation. Students begin this segment of learning with simpler animals and how their body systems work and then learn about increasingly complex animals to better understand our body systems. The zoology unit will end with the study to vertebrates and mammals which includes a pig dissection.
