Cross Country Sports Update

The Girls Cross Country Team won the Northmont XC Invitational on Saturday. Sam Erbach won the race and shattered her own school record by 23 seconds. Emme Greely, Maria Gill and Kyla Harvey all finished in front of Centerville's pack to secure the win for the Spartans. Livvy Walters (who ran a personal best by 68 seconds), Kendal Erbach and Alyza Camp rounded out the Top 7.

At the first Cross Country meet of the season, the boys team finished runner-up behind individual runner-up Jonas King. The girls team were team champions with a perfect score of 15. Leading the way was individual champion Sam Erbach and runner-up Emme Greely, who won the Mover & Shaker Award (the individual who passed the most competitors in the last 1000m of the race).
