Why: Why not!  Enjoy an afternoon of fun at Kids Construction Day, food trucks, and a tailgate experience while visiting Homearama and the 11 new luxurious homes!

About the Day: Students will participate in activities and education opportunities at their own pace while completing the tasks and be entered to win the grand prizes (student does not have to be present to win grand prizes).
 
October is Careers in Construction Month, which shines a spotlight on the opportunities in the industry and recognizes the professionals working in the residential construction industry. The Home Builders Association of Dayton is launching this inaugural event to bring the trades and the power of building, tinkering, and innovating to students who are interested in a new challenge.
 
The HBA of Dayton is dedicated to enriching the educational experience of students by offering them first-hand exposure to the real world of the building industry through this opportunity with hands-on use of tools and educational exposure to the trades while leveraging the reach of this year’s Homearama at Union Village. Prizes for participating students include Amazon gift certificates, iPads as grand prizes, and the opportunity to win three (3) $1,000 scholarships into their CollegeAdvantage: Ohio 529 Plan.
