Applications Open for Community Champion Organization Award 2025

The Community Champion Award recognizes organizations, sports teams, and school programs that exemplify the true spirit of community champions by demonstrating exceptional dedication, leadership, and service within their communities. This monetary award is granted by 1994 WHS Alumna, Tammy Smith, as her own days at WHS have made a lasting impact on her life and have roots in organization service projects during her years at WLS. This award aims to empower organizations that foster individuals to exhibit servant leadership and experience the transformative power of service to others with personal growth.

If your organization would like to be considered for this monetary grant, please complete the application and return by April 1. To be considered for the award, please designate how the funds will be used to benefit others in the community.

The Community Champion Organization Application is due April 1, 2025.
