Food Services

The USDA has announced that the National School Breakfast and Lunch program will continue to be free for all students during the 2021-22 school year.  This means that students will not be charged for breakfast and lunch “Class A” meals.  Extra/ala carte items will be available for purchase.

However, we encourage all families to complete a free and reduced application form if you feel you might qualify.   Approved applications determine eligibility for your child’s schools fees to be waived, child’s P-EBT cards, and any additional state and federal program benefits that you may qualify for.

Note:  To access the application, use the following link Free/Reduced Application Form.  The application may be emailed to jdworetsky@waynelocal.net or dropped off at the Administration office in the Performing Arts Center.

Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer (Summer EBT), also known as SUN Bucks

Beginning in summer 2024, Ohioans have the opportunity to participate in a new federal permanent program called the Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer (Summer EBT), also known as SUN Bucks, that provides cash grocery benefits to households with children who qualify for free or reduced-price meals.

The Summer EBT program provides children who are eligible for free or reduced-price meals with Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits. Each eligible child will receive a one-time $120 benefit for the summer.

All free or reduced-price meal certified students who have access to the National School Lunch Program or School Breakfast Program qualify for the benefit. Households can apply for free or reduced-price meals at any time during the school year and this year’s application has the added Summer EBT benefit.

Note:  To access the application, use the following link Free/Reduced Application Form.  The application may be emailed to jdworetsky@waynelocal.net or dropped off at the Administration office in the Performing Arts Center.
